Its an olden days traditional food, prepared for almost all the occasions / functions in home such as marriages, shree manthams etc..
  • Tastes good as an side dish with rice and rasam
  • Goes well as snack 
  • Can be eaten with pickles or by applying lemon juice and salt to it
  • Tastes good for nipat masala
  • Kids can eat with tomtao sauce
  • Can be eaten by applying butter on it


INGREDIENTS: 3 cups of Rice flour (biyyapindi), 1 cup of Legumes (pappulu / veri senagullu), Salt, Red chilly powder, 4 table spoons Hot Oil, Water, 2 table spoons Seasame seeds (nuvvulu - optional)

PREPARATION:
  • Add all the ingredients into a bowl
  • Knead to a hard dough using required quantity of water
  • Grease oil to a cover or your palm
  • Take small portion of the prepared dough 
  • Press it into small puri called nipat
  • Make such as many as required or till the dough finishes
  • Place oil in an kadai and heat
  • Deep fry the prepared small nipats in oil till golden brown
  • Nipatlu are ready to serve now..
  • Store them in an container
  • Stays for around 1 month
